- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue on a sole source basis a class of orders against the Vertical Take-Off and Landing Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV) Contract N00019-00-C-0277 with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Ryan Aeronautical Center located in San Diego, CA for a period of two years. Contract Line Items (CLINs) 0109 through 0120 were established under the contract as provisioned items to be issued via bilateral contract modifications in accordance with the Ordering of Provisioned Items Clause. These items consist of supplies and services that include support equipment (Support Equipment for Support Equipment) integrated logistics support of the VTUAV system, interim spares (OT&E), interim spares (IOC), repair-of-repairables, materials and services necessary to repair, modify, restore, and/or return-to-ready for issue condition items of Government equipment, maintenance transfer equipment, operational trainers, engineering and technical services, and associated provisioning and technical data supporting the VTUAV Program. Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the VTUAV system and is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform these efforts in a timely manner.
