Description

The Air Force Institute for Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Risk Analysis (AFIERA) and the 311 HSW/PKOM plan to extend the ordering period and the period of performance for five existing Occupational and Environmental Health Assessment (OEHA) contracts F41624-95-D-9015, F41624-95-D-9016, F41624-95-D-9017, F41624-95-D-9018, and F41624-95-D-9019. These contracts, awarded under a competitive source selection currently have ordering periods that will expire on 16 Jun 01. The government intends to award modifications to extend the ordering period for each contract from 16 Jun 01 to 30 Sep 01, and the period of performance from 16 Jun 02 to 30 Sep 03. The proposed contract action will provide an additional three months of contractual coverage for ordering. Current contract ceilings will not be changed. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of responsible sources, under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within twenty-seven days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
