Description

1. This project is 100% set aside for Emerging Small Businesses. It is anticipated that a multiple award contract will be awarded for the purpose of accomplishing various construction projects at Bethesda, Maryland. NAICS code is for Building Construction, 233310 and size standard is: $27,500,000. The work requirements will include: repairs, alteration, new construction services for buildings and structures and related systems and equipment. The work may be routine renovation and repair of facilities including, adminstrative office spaces, hospital facilities, family housing units, warehouses, laboratories, classrooms and industrial facilities. Projects may include asbestos removal, demolition, equipment installation and repair or replacement of mechanical systems. 2. Solicitation documents will be posted to the website around 6 June 01. The website is: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. This site also provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file. Potential bidders will be repsonsible for downloading their copy of the solicitation, and also for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. The apparent successful bidder must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration data base (CCR).
