Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Command plans to acquire 24 each Life Raft/Survival Packages for the UC-35 Aircraft. This effort will be sole source to Winslow Life Raft Company. The solicitation number is DAAH23-01-R-0462 and is issued as a Request for Proposal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26, dated May 16, 2001. This acquisition is not a set-aside but sole source to Winslow Life Raft Company, a large business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 326299. The solicitation consists of the following: CLIN 0001, 29 each, Life Raft/Survival Equipment, Model Number 1015FAUL-030-1-307 -- Ultra-Light Type One Life Raft FAA -- TSO C70a & CAA BCAR-B4-8 approved "Part 135" including the Dual Frequency survival (S Type ELT, 121.5/243 Mhz) and Survival Package Hard Pack and CLIN 0002, Preventative Maintenance for the 2nd, 4th and 5th year basic service.
