Description

The Coast Guard Telecommunication and Information Systems Command (TISCOM) is seeking information ONLY on possible sources of supply for a Transceiver/ Controlling System with the following capabilities; Freq Range: 2.0 to 29.999 MHz, Freq Tuning Incr: 10 Hz or less, Freq Stability: Internal: 1 x 10(-8) or better over a 24hr period, Modes: CW, DSB, SSB, Am/AME, FSK, RF Output Power- High: minimum of 4 up to a max of 10kw PEP, RF Output Power-Low: min to max power adjustable, RF Output Impedance: 50 ohms, unbalanced 3:1 VSWR max, RF Output Protection: if VSWR exceeds 3:1, Carrier Suppression: -50dB (min), Carrier Reinsertion: (AME) carrier shall be no less than 25% of full-rated PEP, Keying Time: 10msec (max), Power: 3 phase (Delta or Wye) 208 VAC (+/- 10%), Local Control: Provisions for local operation of system; frequency, mode, tuning, keying, high/low power and operation of Built-In Test Equipment (BITE). Remote disabled when on local. Remote Control: System shall provide remote capabilities indentical to local, front-panel controls. Request vendors list of available control system protocols/interfaces such as EIA-232, EIA-422 and DTMF keypad, Built-In Test Equip (BITE): BITE continuously monitorsd and reports system operational status. Automatic Link Establishment: Capable of ALE IAW MIL-STD-188-141A and FED-STD-1045A, HF Messager: Request vendors provide information regarding the equipments compatibility with the Rockwell HF Messager System. Reliability: MTBF: 9000 hours (min), MTTR: 30 minutes (max). This is not a solicitation for the above equipment and the Coasst Guard assumes no liability or obligation to procure this equipment. A solicitation and/or award for this equipment may or may not be issued. All interested parties may furnish technical information to the Tech POC(s) indicated in this notice.
