Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, Rhode Island has a requirement for the following: Item 1) Seven (7) each Afterbody Shells Basket Assembly in accordance with NAVSEA drawings; Item 2) Seven (7) each Tailcone Basket Assembly in accordance with NAVSEA drawings; Item 3) Seven (7) each Engine Basket Assembly in accordance with NAVSEA drawings; and Item 4) Seven (7) each Engine Accessories Basket Assembly in accordance with NAVSEA drawings. There are a total of 33 Drawings associated with the Basket Assemblies, to request copies of the drawings contact Joan Purcell at (401) 832-1751 or e-mail purcelljm@npt.nuwc.navy.mil . This acquisition will be processed using Commercial Procedures per FAR Part 12. A Firm Fixed Price Contract will be issued. Delivery will be FOB Destination based on the following schedule: One (1) each of Basket Assemblies (Items 1, 2, 3 & 4) to Newport, RI by July 31, 2001; One (1) each of Basket Assemblies (Items 1, 2, 3 & 4) to Yorktown, VA by August 15, 2001; One (1) each of Basket Assemblies (Items 1, 2, 3 & 4) to Ewa Beach, HI by August 20, 2001; Two (2) each of Basket Assemblies (Items 1, 2, 3 & 4) to Yorktown, VA by September 4, 2001; and Two (2) each of Basket Assemblies (Items 1, 2, 3 & 4) to Ewa Beach, HI by September 17, 2001. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. NAICS code is 332999, 500 employees. Estimated RFQ release date is May 25, 2001.
