Description

This project consists of construction of running and step and run wooden boardwalk trail, viewing decks, stairs and other miscellaneous minor work. The project is located at the 1.5 milepost on Forest Development Road (FDR) 3030850 approximately 13 kilometers southwest of Coffman Cove, Alaska, and 52 kilometers northeast of Craig, Alaska on Prince of Wales Island. The contract performance time will be 120 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. The estimated price range for this project is $25,000 -- $100,000. The solicitation will be posted to the Tongass National Forest Internet Homepage for viewing and printing on or about June 13, 2001. Follow the link to Current Contract Information. Potential quoters are encouraged to obtain the solicitation by way of the Internet if possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation KTN-01-31. Telephone requests will be be honored. Quotes will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date.
