Description

This project consists of crushing and placing specified crushed aggregate, reconditioning of roadbed including blading and shaping of roadways, turnouts, parking areas, and approach road intersections, compaction, ditch cleaning, culvert inlet and outlet cleaning, minor slide removal and installation, cleaning, and reconditioning of drainage structures. The project is located on Prince of Wales Island, Southeast Alaska and can be accessed from the existing island road system. The project site is located along FDR 20 just before the FDR 23 and FDR 20 intersection. Contract performance time is 90 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The estimated price range for this project is $250,000 -- $500,000. The solicitation will be posted to the Tongass National Forest Internet Homepage on or about June 4, 2001 for viewing and printing. Follow the link to Current Contract Information.
