Description

Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and = supervision required to replace station building roof at the U.S. Coast = Guard Station Barnegat Light, Barnegat Light, NJ. Base work will = include the following: Remove approximately 5500 square feet of = existing built up roofing system including felt layers, insulation, = flashing, and miscellaneous items down to gypsum plank deck. Remove = associated metal gravel stop, gutters and downspouts. Remove and = dispose of all roofing felt layers, asphalt, and felt flashing as = asbestos containing material. Install approximately 5500 square feet = of new modified bitumen/built-up roofing system, new rigid insulation, = new flashing, new gutters and downspouts, and new metal fascias. Unit = Work (if required, Unit Work Items will be awarded via modification = after contract award) includes: Remove approximately 840 square feet = of existing EPDM roofing system including insulation, flashing, and = miscellaneous items down to metal deck. Remove associated metal cap = and drain strainer. Install approximately 840 square feet of new = modified bitumen/built-up roofing system, new rigid insulation, new = flashing, new metal coping, and new drain strainer.
