Description

This acquisition is being offered for full and open competition = subject to the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) = code 235990. Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Woman-Owned Small = Businesses, Disabled Veteran Small Businesses, and HUBZone certified = Businesses are encouraged to participate. This project is located in = Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado. The project involves to replacement of = the Cathodic Protection System Deep Anode beds installed at various = Missile Alert Facilities (MAFs) and Launch (LFs) in Wyoming, Nebraska = and Colorado. The contractor shall install new anodes and anode leads = in new bore holes and connect to the existing junction box and = rectifier. The contractor shall be required to demonstrate adequate = impressed current cathodic protection for the underground structures = associate with these sites. The performance period for the resultant = construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation is sixty = (60) calendar days. There is no winter exclusion period for this = project. The cost magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and = $100,000. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or = about May 28, 2001, with a closing date 30 calendar days after = issuance. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal.
