Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number Q9320010020 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. This solicitation is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234110, the small business size standard is $27,500,000. Contractor shall provide approximately 202 tons of high float polymerized asphalt emulsion HFE-90-1S and approximately 48 tons of high float polymerized asphalt emulsion HFE-90-1S/50% dilute to Crater Lake National Park, Crater Lake, Oregon during the week of July 16, 2001. FOB is destination. Payment will be made upon receipt and acceptance of the products. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items is not applicable to this solicitation as price will be the basis for award. Offerors are requried to submit with their proposals a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. RFQ responses are due no later than close of business June 21, 2001. Quotations shall be submitted to the address listed herein or faxed to 541-594-2299 and directed to the attention of David Thomsett. The Government shall not be held responsible for the quality of fax transmittals. The solicitation number shall be listed on the outside of your response for identification purposes.
