Description

This project is a Request for Proposal to remove and replace an existing bridge on the Bighorn National Forest, Bighorn county, Wyoming. This project consists of: providing temporary closure of Forest Development Road #27 and establishing a detour with a temporary bridge; removing existing concrete and steel structure and salvaging the stringers; furnishing and installing new cast-in-place concrete abutments and wingwalls; furnishing and installing new precast, prestressed concrete beams; furnishing and installing asphalt paving (if option is selected); furnishing and installing new bridge rail and approach guardrail; furnishing and installing new object markers; re-opening the road and removing the temporary bridge. The project is located approximately 50 miles west/southwest of Buffalo, Wyoming, on Forest Development Road #27 in the Bighorn National Forest. The bridge is adjacent to U.S. Highway 16 near Deer Haven Lodge. The performance period for the proposed contract is 300 calendar days. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. This will be a firm, fixed-price contract. The proposed contract is available under full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
