Description

The US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) has a requirement for hospital housekeeping services at Fort Stewart, GA. The contractor will be required to provide all management, supervision, labor, training, transportation, equipment and materials necessary to provide these services in accordance with JCAHO, OSHA and MEDCOM standards and regulations. The contract period will be from October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002 with four one-year options through September 30, 2006. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 561720. The FSC code is S299. This requirement will be limited to competition between eligible 8(a) concerns. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 4, 2001. Proposals will be due on or about July 6, 2001. A pre-proposal conference will be held, the date, time and location of which will be announced at a later time. Interested offerors should request a copy of the solicitation in writing on company letterhead with point of contact and telephone number from MEDCOM Contracting Center, ATTN MCAA-C-SS (Craig Stark), Bldg 4197, 2107 17th Street, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234. Telephone requests will not be accepted. There will be a $25.00 charge for each solicitation request. Checks should be made out to The US Treasury and submitted with your request. All 8(a) concerns are encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the section 8(a) program.
