- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. Solicitation no. 20181-1-Q032 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be awarded as a Purchase Order using simplified acquisition procedures. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS Code #336212. The small business size is 500 employees. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. BACKGROUND: The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge, Indiahoma, Oklahoma, requires a Lowboy Trailer. The solicitation item specifications as follows: Furnish one each Lowboy Trailer Model ATOKA Model #20-RGN-50-3, Suspension: Air Ride. Capacity: 100,000 lbs. Minimum structural weight. Axles three (3), Wetline Kit in lieu of Power Pack, Beavertail End Ramp Hydraulic Detachable Gooseneck/Non-grounded bearing (self lifting non-pedestal). Brakes: 16.5 X 7 Air with ABS, Wheels: 8.25 X 22.5 Disc, Tires: 255/70 R22.5 w/spare tire and wheel. Main Frame: 16" T-1, Side Frame: 16" T-1, Crossmembers: 8 X 10#, Hitch: 2" 5th wheel pin, electrical connector (truck lite or equivalent), Flooring: 2" hardwood, Outriggers, D Rings (minimum of 10 rings per side), Covers over wheels 44" tread plate, Height: 28" (24" loaded), Width: 102", Deck Length: 20 ft., Deck Width: 102". Quoters will include a copy of standard product literature in sufficient detail to determine the product submitted meets the specified requirements. Warranty: quotes will include warranty period and warranty terms and conditions. Delivery: FOB Destination to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge, 17 miles NW on HWY 115, Lawton, Oklahoma. Delivery includes fully assembled equipment, prior to delivery to the refuge. Delivery Date: 60 days after date of award. Delivery must be made on weekdays, excluding federal holidays, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., local time. Point of Contact (POC) will be SamWaldstein, Refuge Manager, Phone: 580/429-3019, 24 hours prior notice of delivery will be required. The provision at FAR 52.212-01, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, and FAR provision 52.212-02, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition, 52.212-03 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, the Clause at FAR 52.212-04, Contract Terms And Conditions-Commercial Items, and the Clause at FAR 52.212-05, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. Evaluation of Commercial Items: the Government will award to the responsible offeror based 1. Conformance to Specifications; 2. Warranty pprovisions; and 3.Price . Vendors wishing to respond to this RFQ should provide this office with the following: price quote on letterhead for the requested equipment, correct remittance address, and a completed copy of FAR Clause 52.212-03, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. This form may be obtained from the Contracting Officer by FAX at 505/248-6791. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in the offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for the receipt of offers.
