Description

The following amendment is made on the last date for submission of offers, evaluation criteria, and technical requirements of some of the equipment requested. 1) Last date for submission of offers to our office, Addis Ababa, is 19th June 2001 Local time. 2) Item No. 1: Autoclave, required is non-electrical type 3) Item No. 2: Instrument Boiler, required is non-electrical type 4) Item No. 10: Sphygmomanometer, required is the mobile type (on wheels) 5) Item No. 13: Scale, adult, required is scale with dial measuring rod 91cms to 195cms 6) Item No. 15: Microscope, Olympus, type CH20RF or equal, features include: -- interchangeable 45 Deg.Cent. Inclined binocular tube 360 Degree routable, rectangular mechanical stage, coarse and fine adjustments, condenser with iris diaphragm and filter holder, with low voltage illuminator objectives 4x, 10x, 40x, 100xoilimmersion, Hughes eyepieces paired 10x, 220v, 50Hz, wooden case with mirror, or better. 7) Item 20: Autoclave, vertical, Model AVX4 or equal, a) Raise quantity to 7 b) Features include -- 60 liters over all volume, 13 liters liquid, 2 panners, 133cmx82cmx74cm, 4.5 kW, 220v, 50Hz, 95kgs, or better. 8) Item 21: Vertical autoclaves, cancelled, please omit from the list. 9) Item No. 28: ELIZA Machine (Qty 3) -- please include quotation for Automatic Washer for each machine. The washer shall be compatible to the ELIZA Machine requested, latest version, standard type and fit to latest technology applications. 10) Item No.20: Autoclave, vertical -- to assist you obtain appropriate equivalent offer for the proposed model, please refer to the manufacturer's catalog.
