Description

The US Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement for the fabrication and delivery of a 8 feet high x 8 feet wide x 10 feet long, expandable ISO Container in the MECC configuration similar in materials, design, and construction to the Army's Containerized Kitchen (CK) except for the following: (a) No fabric, but provide all mounting hardware and support systems for fabric. (b) Forklift pockets shall be provided on the 10 foot sides. (c) Pockets and mounting hardware suitable for mobilizers shall be provided on the 8 foot walls. (d) All floors shall be fabricated with aluminum diamond plate. (e) The container shall be furnished with low speed ISU mobility wheel sets. (f) No other cutouts, mounting points, or water fall are required. (g) Color is forest green outside and white inside except floors. (h) Both 8 foot end walls shall be lightweight double doors similar to CK. (i) Lightweight side walls supported by cables during deployment. (j) Cables disconnect and floor corners supported by simple stands similar to CK. (k) Robust bubble levels on expandable floors and container. A full and open/unrestricted acquisition is planned. The NAIC code for this effort is 493190. For the purposes of this requirement, any concern with annual receipts of less than $18.5 million is considered a small business. This acquisition will utilize best value source selection and will result in an award of a Firm Fixed Price Type Purchase Order.
