Description

TREE THINNING: The Colville National Forest requires tree thinning services on approximately 351 acres on the Republic Ranger District. Location of the work is in the Ferry County Washington, located in the NE portion of Washington. This project requires the furnishing of all tools, equipment, materials, supplies (except those designated as Government-Furnished), labor, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance, transportation, and incidentals to perform all work necessary to accomplish the tree thinning. The resultant contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a 212 acres thinning contract guarantee with additional identified possible work of 139 acres of thinning. Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act registration and a Washington State Farm/Forest Labor License are required. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about June 15, 2001. Estimated start work date is on or about July 23, 2001, with work being completed within 46 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Quotes are estimated to be due July 6, 2001. The proposed project listed here is a 100 percent small business set-aside. NAICS code is 115310, size standard $5.0 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
