Description

The St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (Corporation) = requires the custom fabrication of three (3) motors. The Corporation = has a barge that is used to commission and decommission buoys in the = St. Lawrence River and uses the barge?s deck winches to hoist concrete = anchors in and out of the river. The new motors are to be fabricated = to replace the motors on these winches. The motors shall be 30/15 HP; = shall operate at 460 volts, 60 Hz,3 phase; shall have two (2) speeds = providing 1680/840 RPM; shall be of Design ?D? construction and shall = be furnished with fail-safe brakes and heaters. Delivery time for the = motors will be approximately September 14, 2001. The RFQ will be = released approximately June 5, 2001. Response time will be July 9, = 2001.This will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This is 100% set aside = for small business.
