- Description
- The Social Security Administration is seeking sources capable of = providing the Agency with an electronic commerce strategy that = incorporates Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) and = Document Imaging. The Agency is seeking sources whose core business is the comparisons of = electronic commerce solutions. These sources must have experience in: ?h Independent research and analysis of electronic commerce products. = This must include continuous in-house testing and evaluation of = products in the vendor??s lab. These products must include EBPP = technology from the payer??s perspective and document imaging, = management and retrieval products that are capable of handling diverse = paper formats. ?h The analysis of an organization??s electronic commerce requirements = from a business perspective and a systems perspective. ?h The development of deployment strategies for electronic commerce = initiatives. ?h The ability to make solution recommendations based on individual = product strengths and weaknesses as well as the Agency??s business and = system requirements. These sources must be providers of vendor independent research and = advisory services only. They cannot be involved in solution = integration or product development. Interested vendors must be able to = provide verifiable proof by submitting information in sufficient detail = to demonstrate their ability to meet the Agency??s requirement. Vendors = should provide the names and contact information of customers. = References will be checked. Vendors responding should indicate whether = their services are available on the GSA schedule. Pricing data may be = submitted. This is not a request for proposal and the Government does = not intend to pay for information submitted. Respondents will not be = notified of the results of the evaluation of the data received. No = contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; = however, this information will be used in SSA??s assessment of capable = sources. Responses to this notice should be submitted in duplicate = with 15 days of this publication and should refer to ??DOCULABS??. = Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or = acknowledged.=20
