Description

This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in the Request for Quotation. Quotes are being requested under solicitation no. RFQ 0003134 using Simplified Acquisition procedures. This solicitation is under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) under the test program FAR Subpart 13.5. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-23. The FBI requires the services of a firm which can provide additional technical production staff, schedule satellite transponder time, and provide a mobile uplink and/or production truck, mobile generators, lighting equipment, and other related television production equipment as needed. Travel expenses will be borne by the contractor and will be reimbursed pursuant to Federal Travel Regulations. This will be a Fixed price, requirements contract for a base year and four (4) additional option years. It is estimated that 2,087 annual work hours will be required for this requirement, excluding holidays. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 512110 and the Business Size Standard is $21.5 million.
