Description

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) intends = to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for performance-based commercial = services inclusive of Janitorial; Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance; = Snow Clearing and Ice Control at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential = Library in Hyde Park, N.Y. The contract awarded as a result of this = RFP will be a combination Firm-Fixed Price and Indefinite Quantity = contract with Department of Labor wage determinations incorporated. = The term of the contract will be for a Base Period of 12 months plus = four (4) 12-month options. The requirement is a 100% small business = set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) = codes are 561720, 561730, 488490, and the Small Business Size Standard = is $12 Million. Interested firms will be required to respond to = evaluation factors, which include both price and technical factors, = where technical factors are more important than price. The primary = technical factors are: Management Approach, Technical Understanding, = and Relevant Past Performance. One Contractor will be selected for = award on the basis of its proposal being the most advantageous to the = Government, price and other factors considered. All responsible small = business sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by NARA. = Copies of the RFP, which will be available on or about 11 June, 2001, = may be obtained through the Federal Business Opportunities web site at = http://www.eps.gov. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this = site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. All = contractors interested in receiving notification of updates/amendments = to the solicitation posted on the EPS are urged to enroll on the web = site mailing list for this acquisition. Those contractors enrolled will = be notified automatically of any changes made to the RFP through their = e-mail addresses. No telephone RFP request will be accepted.
