Description

VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Bayer Corporation Diagnostics Division, 115 Norwood, MA 02062, for reagents and supplies to be utilized with the ACS 180 chemiluminscence system, for the period October 1, 2001 through September 31, 2002. Negotiations to begin on or about July 13, 2001. Applicable NAICS code is 325413. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax to 706-731-7172. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
