Description

NIMA has a requirement for a Shaffstall brand VHS rack mount system for housing eight 2150 drives, a Shaffstall Quickcopy Eliant drive, and software. NIMA is upgrading its existing Shaffstall VHS duplication system. Purchase also includes six 2150 VHS drives. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negoiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302, Shaffstall Corporation. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This product will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for certain commercial items. All sources interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation may submit their requests in writing via fax 314-263-8024. No telephone requests accepted. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for an award.
