Description

Potential sources sought to participate in the regional standardization of Safety-Engineered Syringes with Needles that meet all the provisions of the Federal Needlestick Safety and Prevention Act (H.R. 5178). TRICARE Regions 9 and 10, a military integrated delivery network (IDN), comprised of Army, Navy and Air Force medical centers in California is considering standardizing and establishing a single source Regional Incentive Agreement for Safety-Engineered Syringes with Needles that meet all the provisions of the Federal Needlestick Safety and Prevention Act (H.R. 5178). A list of technical and clinical criteria and instructions will be provided to vendors, suppliers and manufacturers who are willing to participate, be holders of a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center-Philadelphia (DSCP), and distribute products through DSCP's Prime Vendor program.
