Description

The US Army TACOM-ARDEC is requiring services for the manufacture of feedstock tungsten single crystal material. The processing procedures for fabricating the feedstock material is not available and cannot be furnished by the Government due to it proprietary nature. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Auburn University, Alabama. This contract action is based on the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. See Note 22.
