Description

The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for the services of a qualified marine fire inspection/service company to perform testing, inspection, service, and repair for the U.S. Dredge WHEELER's and launch WHEELER's firefighting systems and equipment. Award of a contract with a base period and four option periods is anticipated. This requirement is being procured as a Firm Fixed Price, Commercial Service. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)Code for this procurement is 561621 with a size standard of average annual gross earnings of $9.0 million. The previous SIC code was 7382. This is 100% Small Business Set Aside. Prospective contractors must be capable of servicing, testing, and troubleshooting marine firefighting systems (Walter Kidde) and must provide resumes of qualified personnel with their quotes. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Government. Interested parties may request a complete solicitation package by FAX at 504-862-2889.
