Description

The work involves stabilizing road, which consists of repairing a damaged section of the roadway and protecting it from future damageby stabilizing the embankment slopes in Park County approximately 5 miles west of Cody Wyoming. Principal components of the work consist of the following: a-Removal and disposal of existing asphalt pavement. b-Removal of existing abandoned buried communications cable. c-Excavation of existing embankment materials and stone wall sections to flatten and stabilize the roadway slopes. d-Furnishing and placing topsoil. e-Seeding the finished slopes. f-Furnishing and installing erosion control blankets. g-Furnishing and installing a drainage curb. h-Constructing concrete caps on the exposed ends of two existing stone wall sections. i-Constructing a concrete footing for a new stone wall, including an embedded PVC conduit. j-Constructing a stone wall at the edge of the roadway using Government-furnished stone.
