Description

The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Midwest Area, has a project entitled Painting of Animal Holding Facilities at the National Animal Disease Center (NADC) , Ames, IA, The work includes but is not limited to: furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other necessary work to abrasive blast all interior surfaces, except floors, to prepare surfaces for painting and paint those surfaces. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the applicable portions of the Specifications and Drawings. The Magnitude of Construction is estimated between $100,000 to $250,000. The period of performance will be 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP) (NTP estimated to be issued August 2001). The solicitation will be issued as Request for Proposal No. 5114-1-0008 and will be available on or about June 15, 2001, with proposals to be received not later than 2:00 p.m. (CST), July 16, 2001. The solicitation is issued pursuant to full and open competition and is unrestricted. National American Industrial Classification Code of 235520, with a corresponding size standard of $11.5 M.
