Description

The Metrology Branch at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River, MD, has a requirement for Ruska Portable Pressure Gage, Model 7220-0019 with IEEE 488GPIB, Quantity: 7 ea., and Portable Pressure Gage, Model 7220-0050 with IEEE 488GPIB, Quantity: 8 ea., attached to each, the calibration and warranty stickers indicating date, calibrated, date due calibration, warranty/expiration and contract number. This portable pressure gauge shall be reliable and easy to use. The -19 model shall provide a full-scale pressure of 19 PSI as the -50 model shall provide a full-scale pressure of 50 PSI. shall have electronic gages providing a digital readout. The GPIB is a mandatory requirement for the use of CASS systems for automated calibration and testing. The software program is only compatible to the already in-house programs. The government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, a firm fixed price contract with Ruska Instrument Corporation, 10311 Westpark Houston, TX 77042, under authority of FAR 6.301-1. Ruska Instrument Corporation is the developer and manufacture of existing equipment under this Program. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received in response to this notice will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. The government reserves the right to process this procurement as a sole source based on the response received.
