Description

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) intends to award a sole source contract to WEFA Inc., of Washington, D.C., for subscription to commercial econometric forecasting services which includes as a core set of services: North American Energy Service, World Service, Emerging Europe Economies Service, Global Petroleum Service, and World Industry Monitor. The World Service includes the Developed Economies Service, Latin America Service, Asia Service and Middle East and Africa Service. Other non-core products that may be purchased include the U.S. Macroeconomic Service, Canadian Macroeconomic Service, World Service, along with other WEFA products that may become available in the future, as needed. The proposed contract will be for a period of one (1) year with four (4) option years. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties who feel they can provide these services may respond by submitting their capability statement, including prices, to the address in this notice. All submissions must be received within forty-five (45) days after publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note(s) 22 *****
