Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial service. This announcement constitutes a synopsis only. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. The solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The NAICS code for this project is 811310 (annual income of $5.0 million or less). The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, parts and transportation required to maintain and repair government owned Clark and Crown Electric Forklifts; Clark and Yale Propane Forklifts; Clark Gasoline Forklifts; Hyster Rackloader II Narrow Isle Lift Trucks; Crown Hand Trucks at the Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System, Long Beach facility. The intended contract will be for a base period of one year with the government's option to extend the contract in one-year increments for four (4) one-year option periods. The solicitation issue date will be on or about 12 June 2001 with proposals due on or about 11 July 2001 (2:00PM).
