Description
Obtain the services of a Contractor to provide comprehensive hoist, bridge and trolley brake inspection, coupling alignment, and gear oil analysis, of all CAtegory I, II, and III weight handling equipment, (cranes) as required, by means of a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The Contractor shall provide the necessary supervision, labor, materials and equipment (including all personnel lifts, trucks, mobile crane, and fork-lift) to perform the services in accordance with the requirements. Operations to be performed shall include disassembly of all Hoist, Bridge, Trolley braking systems, inspection, minor repair/replacement, reassembly of the system, and performance of a Load Test to determine the equipments reliability and safety. Additionally, the Contractor shall retrieve oil samples, and have them evaluated by a qualified laboratory, and the Contractor shall verify the coupling alignment on the designated equipment, with the results reported to the Equipment History File. Performance shall be in accordance with the specification, and include all provisions of NAVFAC P-307. This project is being solicited under Simplified Acquisition to all interested firms. The estimated cost range is between $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. The Standard Industry Code is 7699 or the new NAIC 811310. The related Small Business Size Standard is $5 million. This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business (SB) Set-Aside. In accordance with FAR 5.102 (a) (7) availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium; solicitation will be available for download free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. All prospective offerors and plan room holders must register as planholders on the website in order to receive a copy of the solicitation. The official plan holder's list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. Hard copies (paper sets) or CD-ROM of the solicitation will not be provided by the Government. Registering offerors and plan rooms must provide a complete name, address, phone number including area code, offeror type (prime contractor, subcontractor, supplier, plan room, etc.), email address and type of business (large, small, small disadvantaged, woman owned, etc.). Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the Website for any posted changes. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for any amendments made to this solicitation.
