Description

Aerial Lift, Grouse Creek Tree Improvement Area, Bonner County, Idaho. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation RFQ R1-04-01-42 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 421820. A quotation is requested for one (1) line item. LINE ITEM #1, Scanlift Model 190 or equivalent self-propelled Aerial Lift capable of safely operating on slopes up to 20% or 12 degrees: ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Diesel engine, 20 to 25 gross horsepower, 3 cylinders, liquid cooled, telescoping boom, working height of 60 feet, platform capacity of 500 pounds 4-wheel drive, 4-wheel disc brakes, rotating platform, ground control ability and emergency lowering system, 4-wheel steering. Required delivery of equipment no later than July 10, 2001 to: Grouse Creek Tree Improvement Area, 16 miles NE of Sandpoint, Idaho. ATTN: Kevin Naffin. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The contract award will be offered to the best value offer made to the Government, considering price, past performance, and technical capability. Offerors will include with their offer a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
