Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-R-6501 is hereby issued as a request for proposal (RFP). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25 and 97-22 (correction) as well as DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334513 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 56 each Electronic Hydrometers, Anton Parr P/N DMA35N with option 68715 or equal; CLIN 0002 56 each Infrared Cables, Anton Parr P/N 75671 or equal; CLIN 0003 56 each Hydrometer Case, Anton Parr P/N 77130, or equal; CLIN 0004 Electronic Hydrometers, Anton Parr P/N DMA35N with option 68715, or equal, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) See Table 4; CLIN 0005 -- Infrared Cables, Anton Parr P/N 75671 or equal, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) See Table 5; CLIN 0006 Hydrometer Case, Anton Parr P/N 77130 or equal; Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) See Table 6. Note: Anton P/N DMA35N (for CLINs 0001 and 0004) must have product option # 68715 (customer specified concentration software, SG 80/60 extended temperature). Technical package containg salient characteristics and referenced tables can be downloaded at www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. Delivery is required FOB destination within 35 days after award. Final inspection and acceptance will be at NSWC Crane, IN. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Offers that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This requirement is issued as a full and open competition for a firm fixed-price contract for brand name or equal supplies. This contract will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
