Description
Provide power distribution centers and load break disconnect switches for shipboard mounting. Furnish four (4) Power Distribution Centers complete in accordance with specification and drawings. Product include: three-phase transformers, dead-front (ANSI C57.12.26 abd ANSI C57.12.28 "pad-mounted" type with separate high and low voltage compartments, primary fuses, secondary circuit breakers and accessories. Divide high and low-voltage compartments into sections with steel isolating barriers extending the full height and depth of the compartment. Compartment doors: hinged lift-off type with stop in open position and three-point latching. High Voltage compartment shall contain the incoming line, insulated high-voltage load-break connectors, transformer high-voltage bushing wells, connector parking stands, feed through inserts, access to dry well fuses, tap changer, and ground pad. Low Voltage compartment shall contain gages, valves, thermometers, drains, cable lugs, low-voltage bushings, current transformer, pressure relief valve, filling provisions, stainless steel transformer nameplate, and ground pad. Transformer shall be liquid-insulated, two winding, 60 Hertz, 65 Degree C rise above a 30 Degree C average ambient, self-cooled type. Transformer shall be rated 500 kVA, 4% impedance, 95 kV BIL, high voltage of 12.47 kV delta primary, with four 2 1/2 percent full capacity taps one above and three below rated primary voltage. Secondary voltage shall be 480 volts delta. The 15 kV Outdoor Metal-Enclosed Fused Load Break Disconnect Switch for Shipboard Mounting shall be in accordance with specification and drawings. The switchgear is composed of, but not limited to, metal-enclosed, one weatherproof NEMA 3R compartment completed with one 600A -- 15 kV manually ooperated load break fused switch and three power fuses rated 60E standard. The switchgear shall be provided with unit heaters erved by a fused potential transformed integral to the unit. Two cable couplers shall be installed and wired as shown on Drawing. Additional items shall be provided as necessary for a complete and usable system.
