Description

Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for the following transformers for locations within the Upper Great Plains Region: (1)autotransformer, 3-phase, 230/115-13.8-kV, 200-MVA, (2) quantity of two autotransformers, 3-phase, 230/115-13.2-kV, 200 MVA, (3) quantity of two autotranformers, 3-phase, 230/69-13.8-kV, 150-MVA, (4) generator step up transformer, 3-phase, 13.8-230/115-kV, 200-MVA. Each tranformer will include transformer oil, tools, appliances, spare parts and the services of an erecting engineer. Optional items include a gas-in-oil monitor for each transformer and a load tap-changer monitor for the two 230/69-13.8-kV, 150 MVA autotransformers. Delivery will be FOB Destination within the Consignee's Premises to various sites in Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa and Montana. Western Area Power Admin. will be issuing a Request for Proposals on an unrestricted basis o/a June 18, 2001. The NAICS Code is 335311 and the size standard is 750 employees.
