Description

The Bureau of Indian Affairs, is soliciting quotations for approximately 504 hours of estimator services from July 1, 2001 thru September 30, 2001. San Carlos Irrigation Project is in the business of providing electrical service to numerous businesses and households in Pinal, Pima and Gila Counties, plus the San Carlos Indian Reservation and the Gila River Indian Community in central Arizona. San Carlos Irrigation Project is located at 13805 North Arizona Boulevard, Coolidge, Arizona. Coolidge is located in Pinal County in central Arizona. The Scope of Work for Estimator Services include the following: NEW BUSINESS: Meet with new customers; Explain service requirements, customer and company responsibilities; Design system extension/modifications to meet both customer and company requirements; Prepare work order packages including: Working drawings, crew work order, cost estimate, customer cost -- refundable and billable, line staking or have have survey crew proceed and submit for necessary permits; Inspect and approve customer's installation to meet company standard; Meet with construction crew as required to resolve and approve any field changes; Follow-up with customer and construction crew as required, amend as-built drawings and cost estimates as required and Handle customer inquiries and problems concerning system design and operations and follow-up as necessary. MAINTENANCE: Write work order packages to correct problems from customer complaints, system operator, construction crew, trouble man, field checks and NESC violations. PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT: Meet with controlling entities and design and write work order packages as required to comply with improvement and also to be cost efficient to company; Follow-up with improvement entity and construction crews as required. CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS: Work with company engineers to establish standards for new construction; establish standards for up-grading existing facilities; modifying standards to improve or modernize and modifying standards to be more cost effective.
