Description

The objectives and primary functions of the Wellness and Fitness Program for the NIOSH facility in Morgantown, WV are to improve the overall wellness of NIOSH government employees through increased cardiovascular conditioning, muscular strength endurance and flexibility, and positive lifestyle changes; and to provide the opportunity, motivation and tools for self-improvement. The Contractor shall provide a Program Director and staff sufficient for operation of the Wellness and Fitness Program and facilities. The contractor will provide activities not limited to the following: design and implement innovative and creative health programs; conduct group aerobic/exercise classes; maintain government-furnished equipment; screen, develop and present educational, fitness, and nutritional wellness seminars; etc. The resulting contract will be for a base year and four one-year options. Request For Proposal No. 2001-N-04000 contains the complete statement of work which must be met by any offeror to be considered for award. THIS IS A 100 PERCENT SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS ONLY. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 713940 with a size standard of $5M. Only written requests for the solicitation package will be honored. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Agency.
