Description

EXTERIOR BRICKFACE REPAIR,PHASE-3, PROJECT NO. 630-01-102 VAMC-MANHATTAN The VA NY Harbor Healthcare System seeks proposals from highly qualified general contractors with a minimum of 5 years of experience in brick and masonry repair for the exterior brickface repair/replacement at Building # 1 (High-rise) VA Medical Center, 423 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010. Proposal evaluation factors are as follows: Past Experience 40%, Technical Approach 40%, Price 30%. Contractors are advised to present a very detailed proposal that includes a clear indication of any government contract experience and experience working in a hospital setting. Proposal must include full description of the contractor's technical approach and management plan and at least 5 references. A site visit is strongly suggested. Work shall include but not limited to scaffolding, tuckpointing, removal and replacement of brick. Construction period is 160 calendar days, submittals 45 calendar days. NAICS CODE is 23541 , SBA SIZE STD 11.5mil. The cost range for this project is $500,000. to $1,000,000.00 Solicitation packages will be available after 5/18/2001.
