Description

This solicitation is to secure services to complete flood damage repairs on a road leading to a major recreation site. Work includes installing silt fencing, cross-drain culverts, segments of embankment utilizing borrow material, ditch construction, blading and shaping roadbed and ditches, and placing crushed aggregate surfacing. All aggregates will be acquired from a commercial source. The project area is located within the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area, Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, Wallowa County, Oregon. The engineers price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The estimated start work date is September 4, 2001.
