Description

The 482nd FW Operational Contracting Office, Homestead Air = Reserve Station, Dade County, FL is issuing a solicitation for = commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition = Regulation 12.6 for base refuse collection and disposal services. = Contractor to provide containers, collect and dispose of a total of 25 = (6) and (8) cubic yard containers combined and 4 (20) cubic yard = roll-off containers utilizing common commercial business practices. = Contract period is 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002 with four = additional one year option periods renewable each year for a total of = five (5) years. This acquisition is subject to the Small Business = Competitiveness Demonstration Program and therefore unrestricted. The = standard industrial classification code is 4953, with a small business = size standard of $10.0M. A Firm Fixed price contract will be awarded. = The projected date for availability of the solicitation package is on = or about 15 Jul 2001. DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor = Registration (MAR 2000), is incorporated by reference into this = acquisition. Offeror must be currently registered in the Central = Contractor Registration. The offeror shall provide its DUNS or if = applicable, its DUNS + 4 number with its offer, which will be used by = the Contracting Officer to verify that an offeror is registered in the = CCR database. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an = offeror ineligible for award.
