Description

The Albuqueruque Job Corps Center is soliciating bids for the remodeling of an area in B Dorm. The job will consist of converting dorm rooms and a laundry room into office space. There will also be 2 bathrooms that will be remodeled toinclude removal of shower stalls, bathtubs, and associated fixtures. Both bathrooms must be made accessible under ADA. The current lounge area will bew converted to a waiting area with 2 receptionists areas. Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply. All bidders must do a walk through of the area prior to submitting a bid. All bidders must be bonded for amount at least equal to thier bid. A written scope of work to include a small drawing of the space is available. Bids must be submitted to Paul A. Penick at 1500 Indian School Rd NW Albuquerque,NM 87104 before close of business (5:00 PM) June 21, 2001. Bids will be opened at 1:00 PM on June 22, 2001. Provided that funding has been received from the United States Department of Labor, ETA, the successful bidder will be notified on or before June 29, 2001.
