Description

Pre-Invitation Notice for Exterior Building Cleaning and Painting, U.S. Courthouse, Wichita, Kansas, PCN RKS20740. IFB o/a June 21, 2001. Estimated Cost Range: $250,000.00 -- $500,000.00. Time for completion: 120 calendar days. Anticipated notice to proceed date: 4/24/2002. No document charge or deposit is required. Project consists of cleaning and sealing of existing exterior stone masonry of entire building. Granite "apron" is also to be cleaned. Mortar joints are to be tuckpointed. Existing exterior metal surfaces to remain are to be cleaned. Existing steel handrails to be replaced with new anodized aluminum rails. Contractor will be required to meet stone masonry restoration and cleaning competency requirements and have a satisfactory performance history. Full and open competition is invited.
