Description

The Albuquerque Job Corps Center is soliciting bids for the remodeling of the bathroom area in Y dorm. The job will consist of removing the exterior wall, adding a bumpout area, and installing new fixtures. Davis-Bacon wage rate will apply as applicable. A blue print of the work is available, however, some changes must be made. The current plans call for 30" shower stalls. The stalls must be increased to 36" with appropriate reduction in the number of stalls. A walk through of the site is required. Bids received from bidders that have not made a walk through will be considered non-responsive. All bidders must have bonding in an amount at least equal to thier bids. Bids must be submitted to Paul A. Penick, Purchasing Specialist, at 1500 Indian School NW ALbuquerque, NM 87104 before close of business on June 21, 2001. Bids will be opened at 2:30 PM June 22, 2001 at the center. Provided that funding has beenreceived from the United States Department of Labor, ETA the successful bidder will be notified on or before June 29, 2001.
