Description

The USDA FOREST SERVICE intends to award a construction contract under the Simplified Acquisition Process for Pavement Maintenance at our Grey Towers National Historic Landmark located in Pike County, Milford, PA. This project includes asphalt pavement maintenance to existing site access roads and parking lots. Work includes: crack sealing using hot-pour method, patching ruts, potholes, and other areas designated on the drawings using hot bituminous plantmix, new asphalt surface placement with subgrade preparation, bitumious surface treatment using single-layer chip/stone seal method over new and existing pavement. Effected area for BST-single chip method is approx 9900 SY. SIC 1771. The RFQ is anticipated to be issued June 29, 2001. Estimate price range is betweem $25,000 -- $50,000.
