Description

NASA/DFRC plans to issue an Request for Quotation for all materials , equipment and labor to construct a Bridge Crane at NASA Dryden Flight Reseach Center. THe work includes pre-engineered design and construction of crane and structural support; furnish and isntall 3-ton top-riding, single-girder, motor driven bridge crane and hoist; finish painting; electrical connections; and post-installation testing and certification. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000 the effort shall be completed within 21 calendar days calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. [See Note 1]. The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 33393 and 500, respectively. The anticipated release date of the P1OR00037 is on or about June 22,2001 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about July 9, 2001. The provisions and clauses in the solicitation are those in effect through FAC 97 -- 25. The firm date for receipt of quotes will be stated in the RFQ. All responsible qualified sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The Request for Quotation and any documents related to this procurement will be mailed to all offerors who have requested a copy of the solicitation. Only one copy of the solicitation will be provided to prospective offerors. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B".
