Description

The Office of Surface Reclamation and Enforcement is soliciting bids for the Wheel Ridge Bond Forfeiture Reclamation Project, located in Scott County, TN. The scope of the work includes regrading approximately 48 acres of abandoned coal strip mine spoil to eliminate or partially eliminate 3,200 linear feet of existing high walls, construction of over 3,000 feet of ditches and the revegetation of the disturbed areas. The estimated cost for this project is $800,000 to $900,000. The estimated number of days to complete the work is 150 days. Attendance at the prebid meeting is mandatory. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing.
