Description

Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis with MIDAC Corporation, 17911 Fitch Avenue, Irvine, CA 926014. This effort is to provide the Government with a FTIR Spectrometer to detect ppb chemical vapor from a laboratory sample cell by means of a 4 meter optical path White cell of < 200 cc volume installed for alignment with focused beam, temperature-controlled heating jacket, and with continuous automated detection recorded with AutoQuant Software that copies to Excel. The MIDAC Corporation product is the only known source with integration of a small-volume folded path cell in an instrument sufficiently compact for use with small-scale laboratory experiments.
