Description

This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is solicited as a request for quotation (RFQ), R1-12-01-080. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25. The proposed contract action is set-aside for small business. The NAICS Code for this project is 115310 and the size standard is $5.0 million. The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items. The evaluation criteria stated in paragraph (a) of this provision are as follows: 1) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and 2) Price. Quoter must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract terms and conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders. Commercial Items with the additional FAR clauses stated at the following paragraphs within FAR 52.212-5 applying: (a) (b) (11) (12) (13) (14) (15) (17) (24) (d) & (e). Description: This project consists of obtaining quotes for the following weed spraying chemicals: amine 4,24D, 25 gallons; telar, 105 pounds; Tordon 22k, 150 gallons; blue dye, 15 gallons; escort; and syl-tac, 30 gallons; escort, one pound. Partial orders shall be delivered to 2 locations: Helena Ranger District in Helena Montana, 59601 and Townsend Ranger District in Townsend Montana 59644. The Government requires delivery 30 days after receipt of order.
