Army Materiel Command 7/18/01 The Army Materiel Command is hosting an ON-SITE Technology Expo that will take place on Wednesday, July 18, 2001. This Expo will be advertised to all personnel located in the AMC Headquarters Building, CECOM, DESCOM, STRICOM & USASAC. Army Materiel Command mission: The United States Army Material Command (AMC) is a critical organizational element in the Total Force. AMC equips and sustains this power projection force through superior technology and responsive support. Through major subordinate commands, they direct the activities of depots, arsenals, ammunition plants, laboratories, proving grounds, test ranges, and procurement offices throughout the world. To accomplish this extremely complex mission, Army Materiel Command depends on the defense industrial base. This base includes large, small, small disadvantaged and women-owned business. Some of the requested technologies for this location include, but are not limited to: Flat Screen Monitors, Notebooks, Smart Boards, Scanners, Color Printers, Multimedia, Systems Integration, Communications Equipment, Laptops, Presentation Systems, Records Management, Desktop VTC, Projectors, and Laser Printers.
